The Art of Helen Pain - Colourful impressionistic works by award winning Artist

Here you will find a selection of my artwork, ranging from seascapes and landscapes, to still life and abstracts. I mainly work with acrylic paint, but I also love the challenges of watercolour, and really enjoy the wonderful effects that evolve using mixed media.

For many years I maintained a Gallery in my home, but as I have now relocated, my LOVE STREET GALLERY is no more. At this stage, I am still searching for the perfect home for my new gallery and studio.

WON: The Sydney Mason  Memorial Award at the recent Shoalhaven Art Society Annual Exhibition. Very honoured to receive this.

SOLD: Two paintings from my Display at Unique Optical in Manuka Canberra.

SOLD: THREE paintings, including this poppy, last weekend to a couple from Kiama who had already purchased a work from my exhibition at the Speak and Easy. So happy that they love my work!

SOLD: The WHITE CACTUS BLOOM  as pictured in my website gallery to dear friends. I'm looking forward to seeing it in it's new home.

IN KIAMA: I am lucky to have a selection of my paintings hanging in the Function Room/Gallery at the Speak 'N Easy Cafe in Collins Street, Kiama .

This is a great spot for a Cake and Coffee special, or a lovely lunch, so why not combine a great meal with a viewing of my work.

NEW EXHIBITION: I will be hanging a new exhibition in the Speak and easy very soon.  Keep your eye open for the opening function date.

Thanks to the Management of Speak and Easy  for supporting me in this way.

5 large works  are currently hanging in UNIQUE OPTICAL in Manuka.  Thanks to Stephen Pain for including my art in his lovely premises. .

IN BERRY: I currently have a solo exhibition of Outback Landscapes on display at the Berry BookCafe.  This is a delighful venue for displaying artworks, and thanks must go to Allison for her great support of local artists. My exhibition will be hanging until February 28th.  A new exhibition of my work will be hung on April 10th.

THE KIAMA ARTS TRAIL: I am a founding member of the Kiama Arts Trail, so you can also check out my art and current Art Trail activities on the Arts Trail website.  ON ARTS TRAIL OPEN DAYS, my work can be seen at the SPEAK N EASY, KIAMA, and I'll often be there painting in the gallery.

The ARTS TRAIL will be presenting a shared exhibition of new works at the OLD FIRE STATION, KIAMA, NOVEMBER 16 TO 22ND. I will have 8 works in this exhibition.

Please look around my website and if you have any comments or questions,  feel free to contact me via this website, or on 0432 232 054.
